Frances (Annette)'s Story
Life
Been married 3 times. Have 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandkids. I am currently divorced. I write poetry on the side and some has been published, and I even received an award.
My personal life is very quiet. I leave the excitement and parties to my kids.
I am looking to re-kindle some old friendships at least via the computer. So if you are interested in writing or chatting then send a message. If you are really creative you could even try to find me at other popular sites. And at this time I can not really contact you on here.
School
I had 4 big crushes in Jr High/High School. They were John, Bobby, Joe, and Michael. I ended up marrying Michael twice. My best female friends were: Natalie H., Debbie D., and Michelle K. My favorite teachers were Mr. Hinkley(in Jr. High band), Mr. Dirksen (in Math and Drivers Training), Mrs. Reynolds (in French), and Mr Hendrix my biology teacher. If I could do it all over again sometimes I think I would. Life was a lot simpler then. I loved marching band and we had a good instructor. My best friend was/is Joseph Grosch and Bob Sutton. My best love is still my best love but even though his name is mentioned above I can not tell you who it is. But you would be surprised.
College
I only did college for one semester in my Jr. year of high school and it was a home course offered by Fresno City College in Music Appreciation. Update ..... on 5-23-2014 I graduated with my AA in Liberal Studies at MCC.
Workplace
I have been an assistant apartment manager, a cocktail waitress, a soda jerk, a bouncer, interior and exterior painter, maintenance for apts. & mobile homes, cleaned apts. & mobile homes, Nannie for an attorney, in home child care. I am no longer able to work.
Military
Calif. Army National Guards 185th Trans. Bn.-----Dispatch Communications Clerk-----Aug.1976 to Sep.1977. I am looking for Capt. Marvin Steed. CSM Bruce Presley rest in peace he was a great man and a pleasure to serve under him.
I always wanted to be a mom and a teacher when I grew up, and be in the military. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
When I was younger...Expand for more
I blew off steam by writing and bicycle riding. Then I discovered chopping wood worked great. After that I would shoot hoops or color. Now I play games on the computer.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a computer, a cell phone, and some alone time to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My hero was Gen. Patton. He was strong and brave and never asked anyone to do anything that he wouldn't do himself. After that was my last step-dad. An excellent example of what a man should be. Loving, kind and supportive. Never would put you down
I love rugby! Love all animals. Hate reality tv.
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel I don't know and add on a second floor. My dream home would be a log cabin.
You can't just be their friends. You can't always protect them. You're damned if you do and damned if you don't.
If I won $100 million, I'd give $1 million of it to ea. of my kids and the Church and a couple of special organizations, then spend the rest on bills, property and a trip back home to Arkansas and to take my grandkids to disneyland.
My current age is 66. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be in less pain. I was so completely wrong.
I work hard at raising a great grandkid.
My best friend would tell you I'm a true friend, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as stuck up.
I am a combination of hippy, cowboy, biker and military person.
I share my home with my 2nd son, 1 grandkid, and 1 great grandkid which I find just fine.
If I could have one do over I would have married B.S. from Jr. High and High school. We would have both had a great life together
In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by taking my meds and trying to eat right.
My first job was at Northeast Assembly of God Church, where I got paid ? to ?. What I remember most about it is the kids.
I have many childhood memories and unfortunately most of them are bad so I do not think I want to share them. I will say I have three real fond memories .... walking off campus in Jr High just to walk in the rain during lunch break, horseback riding with Natalie, my first motorcycle ride with Bobby in high school.
